Eleanora Notary Public

LEGALISATION FEES

Many countries around the world, especially those outside the Commonwealth, will require confirmation that Eleanora Peter is duly authorised in England and Wales to act as a Notary Public. This is done by a process known as legalisation.

For most countries this is done by us sending the completed document to the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office where an additional certificate is added to it together with the seal of the UK FCO which confirms my signature and seal as being genuine. This certificate is known as an “Apostille”.

A few countries have some additional requirements which may mean that the document also has to be legalised by their own consulate or embassy in addition to the apostille.

We can arrange for legalisation of documents but you should be aware that there are additional costs involved in this process and it may take some time.

APOSTILLE FEES

The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office charges £30.00 per document for the postal service or £75.00 for the premium same day service.

* postage/courier costs apply.

CONSULAR LEGALISATION FEES

Each Consulate/Embassy has their own rates and services. We will advise you of the formalities/fees that apply to you upon receipt of your enquiry.

MY FEES

Our minimum fee is £60 - £80 plus VAT. We reserve the right to vary the rate, in respect of extremely urgent work or work done outside ordinary office hours or at the weekend.

The service provided by me is that of a notary carrying out all permitted notarial activities including where appropriate, if required, arranging legalisation of documents and sending them to their final destination.
